First week of reno!
The tiles have been chosen for our toilets and kitchen. I can't wait to see them! They look so classy in the 3D images; I'm impressed. Last weekend, we also chose all the toilet sanitary and lightings. However, some items are still not chosen yet like our living room and dining room lights. It was really funny when dearie sat on the toilet bowls to see which felt better. The contractor told me to try to, but I was like no, if his butt fits, mine will too! And the contractor was like, "What?! First time hear before. You mean your butts all same size?"
We took very long to choose the stuff as there were many things to decide on. The lightings added up to $1700 after discount. The toilet sanitary and kitchen stuff like the sink added up to $3600 after discount. Sigh, everything in Singapore so costly. We were at the showroom from 11.30am to 2.30pm!
Anyway, today is the first week and second day of renovations! I'm excited. I haven't gone into the new house to see how the reno is going, but perhaps we will drop by soon to check that everything is okay.

Contractor finally chosen!
Sigh of relief. We've finally chosen the contractor cum interior designer for our house. We actually got a total of three proposals from 3 different IDs. In the end, we decided to go with the first one and managed to reduce the price from around $96K to $81.1K. Although it's still very pricey, with the 3D drawings so far, we are impressed. Also, I'm sure they'd be able to do a good job since they said they were the main contractors for Marina Bay Sands!
We went to the tiles showroom last weekend to choose our preferred ones. He hasn't sent finish all the drawings yet, but based on the few we see, I believe we are in good hands! I can't wait for them to start on the hacking next week! :) Another day nearer to seeing our pretty home :)
Updates again soon >_<
